Nine horns + one drummer = dance party.  You make up a title, we make up a song.

After years of playing in the streets of Kensington Market with Richard Underhill and the Kensington Horns, Michael Louis Johnson decided to put together his own big horn ensemble.   The music is completely improvised with an emphasis on the different cultural ideas of “dance music”.  The collection of players is varied, with seasoned professionals playing alongside eager amateurs.
